Ordering Wedding Stationery

It can be confusing working out how, when and what to order when it comes to your wedding stationery, so hopefully, this handy little blog post will break it down for you.

Step 1:

Choose your collection or chat to me, I can come up with the perfect design to suit your theme, colour scheme or idea.

Step 2:

Decide (roughly) how many guests you would like to invite. Halve that number and add an extra 20. This will usually give you enough of each item to post to each couple/family and enough left over for the individual guests and some spare for you to keep as keepsakes (or invite more guests!).

Step 3:

Think about what and when you would like to order, to give you an idea here is what I recommend as time scales.

9 - 12 months before // Save the date cards - perfect for giving your guests an early heads up to get the date in their diaries.

4 - 9 months before // Invitations, RSVP and information cards - usually sent as a package in one envelope with an envelope supplied with the RSVP for your guests to respond.

6 - 8 weeks before // Menus, table numbers, place cards and order of services - perfect for carrying your design through to the big day.

3 weeks before // Seating plan - available in two sizes, sturdy enough to stand on an easel (which tend to be supplied by your venue, but best to double check).

After the wedding // Thank you cards (or order before to be super organised!) - perfect to finish off a perfect day and thank your guests.

Step 4:

Place your order and I will then email a proof over to you via email (within 2-3 working days). Once you've had chance to take a look at the proof we can discuss any amendments to make it perfect, then when you are happy we will send to print.

Step 5:

Receive your order within 5-7 working days to your nominated address.
